The story of The Psych© is told through the eyes of it's people, each struggling with personal demons and challenges, each with their own goals; some good, some bad, some selfless. Having to find life in a world deep beneath the surface where all life needs are synthetic delivers a challenge of it's own in that there is no escape as the pople struggle to find purpose and happiness in a completely controlled environment that is also an unforgiving police state. Being drawn into the story is all about being drawn into the characters through an understanding of why they make the decisions they make and what has occurred throughout their lives that made their personalities what they are. Contained here in this portion of the site are backstories of those people that supplement the novel, in some cases words originally written for the novel and cut out of the final product.
To deliver the feeling of being immersed in the story, the articles on each character presented in this portion of the site are written as though they could be inserted into the novel occurring within the story.
